The Negara hotel is located along Claymore Road which is a slip road off Orchard Road, the main shopping and Entertainment hub. Most of the main shopping centres, including the latest Duty Free Shop (DFS) along the famous Orchard Road are a mere 5 minutes walk. Orchard MRT station is an 8 minutes walk away.
This hotel is a gem of a property for those in the know. Although it is in the heart of Orchard Road, it is still secluded from the traffic and bustle by simply turning around the corner. Highly recommended.

The lobby is large and very elegant with plenty of cosy designer leather sofas and black marbled pillars. There is no reception desk except for a little concierge desk as check-in is done on a personal basis by the customer- relations officer. The Lobby Lounge sit on one side of the lobby and the Club Lounge sitting on the other side.
