FERDINAND'S (Italian) :An elegant fine-dining Italian restaurant with inspired cuisine and breathtaking views of the South China Sea and outlying tropical islands. An extensive wine selection and a cigar divan are also available for a total dining experience.

AL FRESCO (Mediterranean) : Discover Mediterranean-style dining pleasure at this open-air concept outlet by the sea. Relax at the lively bar area where you can enjoy a range of wood-fired signature pizzas.

FIVE SAILS :Nestled by the poolside, this popular all-day dining restaurant with alfresco seating as an option, offers a dynamic selection of local Sabahan, Malay, Chinese and continental cuisine. Daily buffets are available for breakfast and dinner. On Saturdays, come by for "Malam Kampung" Cultural Night and let the cultural dance performance between 7.30pm - 8.30pm whet your appetite for the dinner buffet. On Sundays, Five Sails opens its doors for Sunday Brunch between 11.30am and 2.30pm. Choose from a large variety of western dishes, complemented by Asian dishes, and come back for seconds.

TARIK LOBBY LOUNGE :This comfortable and spacious lobby lounge provides soothing evening entertainment from the resident band while you slowly sip one of over 50 innovative concoctions of Malaysia’s favourite “pulled” (tarik) beverage.

SILK GARDEN (Chinese) : This grand oriental setting of the Silk Garden offers a wide variety of exquisite Chinese cuisine and the lunchtime dim sum menu is always a popular treat among diners. Also features our daily "88 Flavours" All You Can East buffet.

CAFE BOLEH : 24-hour coffee house features contemporary cuisine with popular local and Malaysian specialities. This restaurant will appeal to those who enjoy creative dining in a relaxed, casual and friendly environment. Daily buffets are available for breakfast, lunch and dinner and the most extensive high tea buffet in town is on offer every weekend.

LOBBY LOUNGE :An elegant and relaxing place to meet over drinks and speciality coffees while watching spectacular sunsets unfold through the expansive floor to ceiling windows that grace the main lobby of The Pacific Sutera. JUGs : JUGs is the premier nightspot in Kota Kinabalu and features a live band every night but Sundays, supported by our Club DJ who spins the latest chart toppers and all time favourites.

Join us daily for Kota Kinabalu's longest Happy Hour from 5pm till 10pm with half price offers on house pouring drinks and beers. Ladies get pampered on Tuesdays and Thurdays with our 'Girls Night Out'. Ladies get JUGs' speciality cocktail 'Love Bite' with compliments all night long.

Sutera Harbour Resort, situated in the heart of the city and mere minutes from Kota Kinabalu International Airport, is the ideal location, amidst the rich cultural and natural heritage of Sabah, for M.I.C.E. (Meeting, Incentive, Convention and Exhibition) events

Designed as the premier venue for large conferences and banquets, Sutera Harbour Resort has 11,696 square metres of covered space and virtually unlimited exterior area that sprawls the expanse of the resort, making it one of the largest M.I.C.E. facilities in South East Asia.

The dedicated and professional Team works closely with organisers to plan and organise events and activities. Through full-service facilities, custom designed event programmes and attention to detail, every aspect is considered whilst meticulous attention to detail ensures the event achieves the desired results and customer satisfaction.

GRAND BALLROOM: The impressive, pillar-less Magellan Grand Ballroom can accommodate up to 2000 people in a theatre style configuration. Amongst the other configurations reception (1600 people) and banquet (1400 people) are included.

THE PACIFIC BALLROOM: The Pacific Grand Ballroom has the capability to host up to 1000 people in a theatre or reception configuration. Ten multi-purpose breakout rooms support the ballroom, and come equipped with a wide range of state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment.

MINI THEATRE

100-seat theatre is available for presentations, lectures and premiers of feature showings. The theatre is also equipped with a Barco system and OHP for seminars and meetings.

Facilities & Services

Sutera Harbour Resort has a total of five swimming pools strategically located at key facilities around the property.

The Magellan Sutera and the Pacific Sutera feature large, free form pools with kiddie sections, whilst The Marina & Country Club has not only a free from pool, a kiddie section and fun pool with water slides, but also an Olympic sized pool. All pools are beautifully landscaped and set amidst lush, tropical vegetation which brings closer the splendour of the natural local setting.

Poolside furniture and dining decks are standard and provide shaded seating whilst outdoor showers and locker rooms are located in close proximity. Lifeguard personnel and pool attendants are always at the ready to ensure a fun and safe experience for all.

Golf : Sutera Harbour Golf & Country Club proudly features a 27 hole, Graham Marsh designed golf course. Consisting of 3 distinct courses, the Heritage, Lakes and Garden Course, varied levels of challenges abound. Breath taking vistas of the South China Sea complemented by lush tropical vegetation and magnificent lakes make this a truly memorable golfing location.

Enabling you to enjoy 17 hours of golf per day and teeing off well past sunset, is our recently completed night golfing facility. The only facility of its kind in East Malaysia, 20 holes are available for your golfing pleasure until closing time at eleven o’clock at night.

Mandara Spa :From the moment you step into the Mandara Spa at The Magellan Sutera , it is evident that you are about to embark on an unforgettable journey to the outer limits of relaxation. Game Centres: Situated next to the kids club at the Magellan, the Recreation Games Room offers a comfortable environment to enjoy board games and other interactive activities.

Striker's Bowl: Sutera Harbour Resort’s exclusive bowling facility features a 12-lane Brunswick bowling alley with state-of-the-art computerised scoring and electronic coaching. Special lanes for children’s play and refreshments are available in the non-smoking, air-conditioned atmosphere.

Mini Theatre: The Marina & Country Club features a 100-seat, state-of-the-art theatre, with scheduled showings of a selection of choice movies, including recent releases and classic favourites.

Two daily screenings are scheduled at 4pm & 8pm and refreshments are available.

The billiards room: Located on the 3rd level of the Sutera Harbour Marina & Country Club, features three snooker tables, complete with accessories. Available to valued club members and guests, in an air-conditioned

Karaoke - The Blue Lagoon KTV Lounge: If your passion is karaoke, then the Blue Lagoon KTV Lounge is the ideal location to croon to your heart’s content.

You can choose to stage your performance to the choice crowd of the main hall, or to hone your talents in one of several private rooms. Disc Jockey will spin your favourite tune from amongst a varied selection of latest hits and classic oldies.

Kiddies Club: Sutera Harbour Resort has two complete children day care centres which offer a range of interesting, fun, creative and educational activities.

The Kiddies Club, located at Sutera Harbour Marina & Country Club, and Little Magellan, located at Magellan Sutera, are open to all children age 3 - 12 years, and allows for kids to be entertained while mom and dad go off on adventures of their own.

Fitness Centre: Located at The Marina & Country Club, the Fitness Centre is Kota Kinabalu’s most comprehensive fitness centre, featuring top of the line CYBEX workout stations.

The club has separate male and female locker rooms, saunas and Jacuzzis and also caters to personal one-on-one training sessions, aerobics and yoga classes.

Badminton and Squash: Six outdoor tennis courts, three covered courts, two squash courts, three badminton courts and two table tennis tables are available with accessories and lighting for night play. Courts are non- air-conditioned. Professional tennis coaching is available from Sutera Harbour's resident Pro. Complimentary sweat towels, drinking water, and use of locker room facilities are available for all registered players.

TRANSPORTATION & DRIVING

Shuttle Service to Town: Is provided within the resort and also to the city centre of Kota Kinabalu.

Road Links: There are overland links between Sabah and Sarawak, and Brunei and Kalimantan in Indonesia.

Licence Requirements: An International Driver's Permit, carried in conjunction with your national driving licence, is a legal requirement for driving in Malaysia. Always make sure documentation is carried with you at all times when driving. Police officers will expect to see documentation if they stop you for any reason.

Which Side of the Road: Follow Malaysian rules of the road and drive on the left-hand side of the carriageway.

Highway Code: Drivers of large vehicles expect smaller vehicles to give way, even where the latter may have right of way.

Hire Vehicles: Cars for self-drive hire are available from reputable firms. Alternatively, visitors can hire a car and driver. Ask the concierge for details.

Not all roads in the interior of Sabah are paved and a 4WD vehicle is advisable. Hire rates often increase for use outside a 50-kilometre radius of Kota Kinabalu. Please note that all hire vehicles have to be returned to Kota Kinabalu as there are no agency offices outside Kota Kinabalu.
