Swimming pool: Repaired and upgraded the pool deck cracked surfaces, renovated the pool's guest toilets, re-fitted and upgraded the filtration systems, relocation of the shower station near the pool-hut and new lighting for covering the pool areas safely in the evening. The waterfall area is now easily accessible for guests' usage and the Sunken Pool Bar is re-fitted to better serve our guests.

Garden areas: At the end of July 2004, all the cabanas in the garden have a new canopy of attap with reinforced leak-proof bindings to provide shaded shelter for your relaxation.

Tennis Court: The previous 2 tennis courts have been re-surfaced with a hard court with one of the courts been converted into a multi-purpose court that allow game of futsal, volleyball and sepak-takraw. The new courts are re-aligned to a new direction that minimise glares from the dropping sun in the afternoon. Adjacent to the courts, we are providing an additional toilet and shower facility.

With this new re-alignment of the courts, the open space created will allow for comfortable space for taking on a sit-down banquet function for 2000 persons, making the Bayview Beach Resort to have the largest outdoor alfresco venue in Penang.

The children playground has been shifted next to the Cat's cafe, nearer to the fenced beachfront, providing a shaded play area that enjoys fresh sea breeze. During the evening after sunset, the garden is illuminated with additional lighting spread out strategically.

Teen club: We have introduced a Teen Club adjoining to the popular Kancil Kids Club that cater to older children. Computer games with X-box and play-station, arcade video games, pool-table and other interesting activities are available to keep the teenagers amused when staying at our Resort.

Security fencing: As the Resort spreads over an area of 7 acres, we address the challenge of previous security concern by fencing the perimeter of the Resort and relocating our guard house to the main entrance. This will prevent unauthorised entry to our premises making it safer to protect all residents of the Resort.

Surau/Prayer rooms: 2 rooms located at the Baylodge, next to our Human Resource departmental office have been renovated to surau/prayer room in catering to our Muslim guests.
