I was very pleased to be asked by the developers of Laem Chabang International Country Club to design the golf course. Their commitment to building a quality golf course and club combined with a site ideal for golf were the essential elements I needed to design the best possible golf course

Throughout the construction process, this commitment to quality never wavered and as a result Laem Chabang has become one of the most beautiful and enjoyable golf courses I have ever designed. The site offered many opportunities to create a sound strategy with good shot values as well as on aesthetically pleasing experience. Playing through changing elevations accented by natural rock outcroppings and boulders should make for a very scenic round of golf. We paid particular attention to the contouring of the fairways and greens as well as the bunkering of the holes. The golf course also has many lakes and streams providing the extra challenge inherent in all top courses.

The abundant natural vegetation of the golf course has been further enhanced by the lush landscaping and beautiful plants and flowers the owners have placed around the course. I am also very pleased that the owner's commitment to quality has extended to the maintenance of the course. Laem Chabang is truly world class in every respect.

As the designer of the golf course I am very glad to have such a beautiful finished product. But the important thing is for you to enjoy the course. The golf course has been designed to provide an enjoyable test of golf for players of all skill levels. If you play from the right tees and think your way around, you should have an outstanding chance to better your handicap. Even if you don't, you'll still enjoy the beautiful surroundings and the warm and friendly service at Laem Chabang.
