One of London's oldest purpose-built hotels, it is ideal for all types of travellers, the lobby being of particular interest.
  • The facade of the hotel is a good example of ornate red brick Victorian renaissance architecture.
  • The medium-sized lobby area with its main marbled staircase, ornate coved ceiling and gold detailing creates an air of historical elegance and is a great focal point of the hotel. The reception area, in complete contrast, is bright and modern.
  • On average the rooms are medium-sized and are in excellent condition, as most of them have been recently renovated. The decoration is a mixture of contemporary and traditional English. The bathrooms are in good condition too. Please note triple rooms will be made of two separate beds + roll away bed.
  • Recently renovated, the main restaurant is a fabulous feature of the hotel being a large airy room with a wealth of period features. There is also a large bar which has a very traditional 'club' atmosphere.
