Hotel Introduction
facade
This is a very grand hotel which is rich in history.
  • Due to the traditional building the rooms vary in size and layout, on average they are medium in size. All rooms are furnished very elegantly in a traditional style and all offer modern facilities. Both the bedrooms and bathrooms are in excellent condition.
  • The restaurant is located on the ground floor. Leading on from the lobby is a traditional lounge, where afternoon tea is served, leading on from the lounge is the bar, and to the left the very traditional restaurant with the atmosphere of a gentlemen's club, being furnished with heavy furniture. Due to its proximity to Parliament it is frequented by many ministers.
  • It is a traditional and impressive sandstone building.
  • The large lobby is laid out with marble and features a small seating area in front of an open fire with a lounge area decorated in pastel colours and comfortable sofas.
