Koh Phangan is located in the heart of the Gulf of Siam, far enough away from the busy mainland to develop it's very own special and unique culture. As part of the Samui Archipelago, Koh Phangan is the least developed island in the group and still has the charms that brought the first travelers here.

To reach Koh Phangan, you will either be arriving at Surat Thani on a bus, train or plane; at each drop off point there are tour guides to show you the way to the ferry terminals.For those that are not on a budget Koh Samui has an international airport run by Bangkok Air and Thai Airways have services arriving in Surat Thani.

All travel arrangements can be made at most travel agents once you arrive in Thailand where you can purchase a combined Bus/Train/Boat ticket.From Surat Thani you will arrive at the main port town of Thongsala.Salad Beach Resort is about 20 minutes drive from Thongsala; taxis regularly depart from Thongsala to Salad Beach.

If coming from Koh Samui there is a ferry service from Big Buddha Pier which arrives directly at the Haad Rin Pier. From there it is possible to take a short walk along the beach or take a 5 minute taxi ride to Salad Beach Resort.

Haad Salad is situated on the west coast of Koh Phangan in between Haad Yao and the small island, Koh Ma. It is about 15 minutes drive from the main port of Thong Sala on a newly completed concrete road network. Haad Salad can also be accessed from the north via Chaloklum, a local fishing village. Car and boat taxis regularly go to Haad Salad from Thong Sala and it can also be reached by boat taxi from Chaloklum pier.
