This vastness is blessed with a rich variety of natural landscapes, from natural forests inhabited by wild animals to mysterious wetlands to steep mountains and more.
Hokkaido’s weather is cold in winter with snowfalls and frozen seas, while it is cool and comfortable in summer, as it does not get as hot and humid as in the other parts of the country.
