Climate
Temperatures are quite the same the whole year round : warm in the evening as well as during the day, sometimes they are stiffling during the rainy season when the wind does not blow. The south west monsoon usually begins at the end of May and lasts until September. The north-east monsoon is less violent and begins in October. The best period to go to the Maldives is from mid-December to mid-April.
