50 years ago, Kaomai Lanna resorts used to be Tobacco-curing mill. But after decline in tobacco business in 1990, we changed the tobacco curing-barns into the gorgeous luxury rooms and created the tropical gardens around the premisses.
Then we built many of Lanna style buildings including Karen-style. Also,we started our country style restaurant as well.

Looking at barns from outside, one can see the roof made of corrugated steel sheets, while the old red-brick walls remain the same as they have been for the past 50 years.
