Room and Accommodation

Our six cottages have a small terrace with a table and two chairs. They are furnished with two single beds, a dressing table, a cabinet, an electric fan (cottages 1 - 6 now available with aircon) and a bathroom with shower and wc. European standard is guaranteed.

Facilities & Services

Our service for you begins when you arrive in Bantayan Island in Sta. Fe. Our jeepney is waiting for you in the parking area on the left side at the end of the pier. If you inform us of your arrival on time (for example by e-mail), we will be there when the ship arrives. You will recognize us in a white t-shirt with the emblem of "Maia´s Beach Resort". Our jeepney will bring you comfortably and of course at no cost to our resort where you can spend your vacation in covenient cottages, in a cosy bar near the beach and in a well-tended restaurant as long as you like.

Bantayan Island is a beautiful small island with a lot of interesting sights, for example the market and the old church from the 15th century in Bantayan or a lot of beautiful caves scattered all over the island. Our jeepney is always at your disposal for a cheaper trip around the island. If you like, we can arrange trips by pump boat to go fishing, snorkeling or island hopping. If you have special wishes feel free to contact us. We will try to do everything to make your vacation on Bantayan Island a pleasant one.

And at the end of your vacation our jeepney will bring you back to the ship in Sta. Fe and will wait for your return.

Location

Bantayan Island is located in the North-West of the main island Cebu. You can reach the  international airport of Cebu City from Manila or from all other national airports of the  Philippines. Furthermore there are connections (for example) from Hong Kong with Cathay  Pacific or from Singapore with Silk Air (Singapore Airlines). After your arrival in Cebu City  there are three possibilities, to come to Bantayan Island:

 1. You go by taxi to the Northern Bus Terminal, and from there you go by bus (we  recommend PCBL aircon-bus) to Hagnaya. From Hagnaya ferries (Island Express) are  leaving to Sta. Fe at 7.30 a.m., 9.30 a.m., 12.30 p.m. and 6.30 p.m.. Please take note that  during low tide the ferries are anchoring outside of the port and the passengers will be  transported to the ferry by a small motor boat.
