One of the easiest and quickest ways to reach Boracay Island is by the air-route via the Caticlan Airport. Once you reach at Caticlan Airport, it is very easy to go to Boracay. Boracay is just around 30-40 minutes away from Caticlan. There are tricycles available outside Caticlan Airport which will take you to the jetty port in three minutes. From the jetty port, a boat ride lasting for about 15-20 minutes will take you to Boracay.
Kalibo Airport connects to the beautiful island of Boracay in Philippines. Many tourist prefer taking flights from Manila's domestic airport to Boracay via Kalibo which is about 45 minutes away from the island. The flight from Manila to Kalibo takes about 30 minutes. From Kalibo Airport, there are several AC buses and vans by which you can reach Caticlan Jetty Port. Boats from this jetty port will take you to Boracay in 15-20 minutes.
HOW TO GET THERE:
By air, land and sea. Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific and Air Philippines fly daily from manila Domestic terminal to Kalibo in approximately 1 hour. An enjoyable 1 hour ride aboard air-con shuttle bus follows capped with a 15-minute motorized outrigger boat trip from Caticlan jetty-port to the island. other airline (Pacific Air, Asian Spirit Airlines) fly directly from Manila to caticlan airstrip. From the airstrip, a short tricycle ride brings the guests to jetty-port.
